Go Mexico! I have mixed feelings on Calderon but this is cool to see.

What’s great about it is that it helps put the lie to the argument that doing things that protect or improve the environment are a luxury few societies can afford. Hopefully this encourages both developing polluters like China and lazy polluters like the US.

China and India will agree to binding limits when hell freezes over. (Speaking of climate change.)

Everyone has a price. I think both countries come around, both because they will become better able to afford emission controls and because prices will have gone done.
