You can make a good argument that most senior members of the Bush Administration are war criminals. It’s small consolation that Alberto Gonzales can’t get a job.

The interrogation techniques used were, at the time, permitted under statute (per John Yoo’s memo). Rice’s statements, therefore, are accurate. She can play stupid and blame the DOJ.
